The Tofu lettuce wrap is an easy dish that will also work as a filling appetiser! Packed with bold flavours, the dish is healthy and quick!
Prep
- 50 gms onion, diced
- 50 gms carrot, diced
- 50 gms red pepper, sliced
- 50 gms yellow pepper, sliced
- A handful of crushed peanuts for crunch
- ½ a head of iceberg lettuce
- 1 packet of silken tofu
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Cooking
- In a large bowl, mash the silken tofu with the back of a fork until it is crumbly
- Add your vegetables to the bowl and mix
- Add 2 tbsp of SausyMama’s Everything Thai sauce and stir till the ingredients are well coated
- Add the lemon juice, mix well, and adjust seasoning to taste
- To serve: on a piece of iceberg lettuce, add the tofu filling, drizzle with the crushed peanuts and enjoy!
